If anyone cares. . .

I downloaded the Seagate version of True Image. It was Version 11, Build 8,326.

It only runs if one has a Seagate drive in their machine.

I created an image using this package, removed the Seagate disk, and attempted to recover my system using the "free" True Image from Western Digital. (Version 11, Build 8,311)

It worked.

The images created by one package seems compatible with the other. This is good news for those who have disks from both manufacturers.

Cheers, PW.
