You ever notice that when states or countries want jobs to move from California to their location... they offer tax holidays to move the jobs? They know they will get nothing without jobs so they tax the workers and offer incentives to job providers to provide jobs.

Even CA knows this so they are working to provide special tax breaks to targeted companies to keep or attract them... We create new jobs by the bushel here in CA then move them out faster than you can shake a stick.

I'd like to find some way to get jobs back to the US with zero taxes on companies that provide jobs that can be taxed. That is find some way to make sure MDs, real estate developers, lawyers, accountants and hedge funds don't incorporate to avoid taxes.... They might have to do something like offer tax holidays for 20¢ on every dollar of income tax paid by workers in the company... Then restore Bush tax cuts for middle class, keep dividend incentives for first $250K/yr to encourage investing for retirement while not rewarding Buffett or Gates for being so rich, etc... and I tend to agree with the liberals that the super wealthy got the advantages of wars to protect oil and other benefits from society so they should go back to Clinton era tax rates... but if they bring new jobs to the US, they can make more money and offset it.

Sadly, I don't see anyone making or pushing for these sorts of choices without getting slammed by the left or the right....
