They are just opening salvos around which interested folks can coalesce. We have real problems that need real solutions now and these folks are going rah-rah and coalescing around broad slogans and vague policy ideas. How long do we have to wait before they come up with a program that addresses actual problems? All I see there now is cut discretionary spending a bit then ramp up tax cuts so the deficits swallow us whole. And that is supposed to morph magically into saving the retirement generation? Really?
