"Recessions are part of the normal economic cycle." Recessions aren't an act of nature! They're a consequence of human inventions, fiat money and the economy. Human actions can determine when they occur or whether they occur. Our Sec. Treas.'s and Fed Head's USED to believe they needed to quash booms to prevent the following inevitable busts. Let's get BACK to THAT. You're really a fatalist, aren't you Ten? That's a much more Buhddist position, that life is suffering, than a Christian one. Won't prayer at least HELP?
