Kevin,

Per last Fridays data, it IBM was smack in the middle of my SHORT-TERM technicals, which doesnt surprise me since the whole market was in the same range.

When in the middle as I have stated several times, it is a flip of the coin. Then this morning they came out with their announcement concerning the hard drive improvements.

I have noticed in the past that IBM moves closer to the DOW than the SOX. Is that also your feeling, since I do not really follow stocks every day.

If that is the case, The DOW is definitely gaining technical strength not losing it. I am getting closer and closer to saying that the support lines of 7575 and 7510 will hold. If that is the case, your downside will be only slight. Also based on my technicals my target for the DOW is still 7900+ before the end of the year.

If we see 7900 before XMAS and if you agree that IBM moves with the DOW, where would that put IBM
