Any respect I had for SP is gone and I try not to gag every time I hear her speak of her enthusiastic support of the tea party movement flexing their muscles - and their voices.

Apparently that support extends to those everywhere except in places where she may need to call in favors for a 2012 run. However, the article I quoted was incorrect with one of its assertions. We actually still have a Democratic Governor and it will be another tight race here to see if he gets replaced by the Republican nominee. It could end up that the only friend she's made in this deal is Ayotte - and I'm not sure how far that will get her in the long run.

A touch more scathing than I might be - but I find a lot to agree with in Debbie Schlussel's assessment of the Palin/Ayotte camaraderie.
