I've never done anything special with any of the software that I use. e.g. Office 2007 or FF. The 32 bit stuff seems to work without any problems whatsoever when running on Win 7 64 bit.

The only slight glitch that I ran into was with Java.

I think that I had to install the 32 bit version so that it matched the browsers I use. But that was almost a year ago, so I'm not absolutely certain what I did. If important to you, I could check.
