Do you think 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' should be repealed?

There is something illogical here. Something that I do not understand, but let's take this one step at a time.

Men and women, in the military and the civilian world, are generally required to have separate restrooms, showers, sleeping quarters, living quarters, and changing rooms.

In other words, one generally does not see colleges or military units assigning a man and woman to live and sleep together in the same room, shower together, or change their gym clothes together. Likewise, Wal-Mart does not require men and women to use the same restroom.

Why not?
