Don't underestimate the fact that the goal is to develop a mobile platform which replaces the PC, the cell phone, the MP3 player and the digital consumer camera. The biggest value is in replacing the PC. So far, AAPL has been the most innovative and has garnered the most "mindshare." It seems that Google, not Intel, is Apple's chief competitor. The Android operating system is making more headway than Intel's mobile chips.
