(NEWSER) – The parting of the Red Sea during the Israelites' exodus from Eqypt usually attributed to Moses could have been nothing more than a natural phenomenon, not a miracle, says a team of researchers.

I never took it anymore literally than the claim that Methuselah lived to be 900.

What I do find hard to believe is that someone wasted the time and effort to simulate this event.
