Who invented the laptop - certainly not Al Gore. The tablet is touted as a radical change but look at the upgrade features - the features give tablets functionality like lap tops - you strip certain very useful (laptop) features out, marketing it as a radical change and than sell the very same features as an accessory - brilliant. do I see some kind of similarity between Bill and Steve? The I pad would make a very nice netbook but the first thing analyts would say; aren't you cannibalizing the I Books? My comments relate to the "form factor" - not the interior or operating system. Samsung offers 3 accessories - two of them make the tablet function like a netbook Are there any accessories for the Galaxy Tab? Samsung will offer a keyboard dock for $100 that can charge your device while you type. The keyboard dock also has a stereo audio output jack for connecting to speakers or home sound system.(a stereo audio output jack - BIG deal) You can buy a desktop dock for $50 that serves as a stand for watching movies or turning your Galaxy Tab into a digital picture frame. The desktop dock also includes an HDMI out connection to display high-definition content up to 1080p from your Galaxy Tab to your HDTV. If you want to use the Galaxy Tab for turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation, you can buy a car/GPS dock for $100. The car dock attaches to the dashboard or the inside of your windshield, and displays your device in landscape or portrait mode. Samsung didn't mention whether the car dock will charge your Galaxy Tab as you drive. Availability details for the Galaxy Tab accessories were not announced. pcworld.com
