AFAIK, the new chips seems to be a competitor of MWave chip. There is a market for this kind of multi-function chipset, may see this pop up in those sub-$1000 PC but no comment on whether OAKT will succeeding in this area. Digital imaging market will be huge. Scanner, digital camera, Multi-function fax, color copier and color laser printer all has good prospect. IMO, Pixel Magic buyout is one of the few smart move of OAKT. Obviously it knew CD-ROM controller will not be a chief revenue source forever. No comment on comparison between Cirrus Logical and Pixel Magic. But Pixel has eastablished good relationship between some major imaging companys like Xerox... check their website. Good Luck aC
