Scba - CPQ has already traded over 3 million shares at 11:15 am EST, so I don't think the volume is light at all. The techs opened up higher and are now selling off. This has been the pattern lately, even the quality issues are not showing strength. Let's hope the tech rally everyone talks about toward the end of the year materializes. However, this year I kept hearing talk that the summer is the 'slow time of year' and that techs pull back at that time. So far, it's been the opposite for stocks like Dell and CPQ, they were strong over the summer and collapsed in the fall. Same with Intel, it was strong for most of the summer, then BAM! down we go.
