I like the feature called "music on demand". You download a song or two from the Internet and listen to it. You can jog while listening to the music because there is no problem with vibration (no moving part).

But flash will have to have more capacity to be able to replace CD (640 MB capacity)

Actually, I am not quite sure. A music CD only contains about 10-15 songs even though it has the capacity to store much more. Does anyone know how much storage is required for an average song? If we can store about 5-10 songs in a CompactFlash, then this can be an alternative to CD player. It also fits inside your pocket, and unlike CD player, it can record.
