Mr. Fredy Salazar reports

SALAZAR RESOURCES LIMITED: MR. JAMES MAYOR APPOINTED SENIOR GEOLOGICAL CONSULTANT

Salazar Resources Limited has appointed James Mayor as senior geological consultant and special adviser to the president.

Mr. Mayor is a graduate of the Royal School of Mines, University of London, England, and has over 40 years experience in senior positions in the mining industry, 37 years of which were spent with Newmont. Mr. Mayor's technical experience includes mine geology, project development and generative exploration in VMS, orogenic gold, porphyry copper and epithermal systems. Mr. Mayor's extensive experience with Newmont includes the position of exploration manager for Ecuador from 1996 to 2001 and exploration manager with the team that discovered the Herradura mine, Sonora, Mexico, from 1986 to 1992.

Said Mr. Mayor: "I have been following the Salazar Resources story with much interest and anticipation. Recently at the request of Mr. Salazar I visited the company's Curipamba project in Ecuador. This project is transitioning from exploration through to development and I was asked to provide some comments and insights into the ongoing work programs. The technical teams working on the company's projects are very professional and methodical in their work and I was very much impressed with the quality of work that is being done. The Curipamba project is one of the better VMS opportunities I have seen in recent years and while there is much work to be done, this is a real project and the opportunity is substantial. I am extremely pleased to be working more closely with Salazar Resources on such a high calibre property."

Said Mr. Salazar, "We, at Salazar Resources, are very pleased that Mr. Mayor has agreed to expand his services to the company and we appreciate his assistance and guidance."
