There is nothing about this simpleton graph you posted that reflects anything approaching reality.

It certainly does not suggest whether tax rates are optimal or suboptimal. It says nothing about the subject.

That you would cite Laffer in relation to such a chart is absurd. While you paint a picture of a lower debt/deficits without Bush or Reagan, nowhere do you give consideration to the runaway spending that CAUSED the deficits -- a point not even addressed directly by the Laffer curve.

And finally, you fail to take note of the steepening of the slope since Obama took office. The trajectory has totally changed, and those changes are a direct result of the uncontrolled spending (which the American people are sick and tired of).

In short, you blew it. Totally.
