My wife and I became so disgusted with the egalitarian message on television that we permanently disconnected our service years ago. We have never missed it. I advise everyone to do the same. It is simply something you will not miss.

We have a very large library of our favorite movies and programs, and we watch those when we wish to see such entertainment.

Lately, we've been watching the entire seven year run of Mission Impossible; one commercial-free episode each evening before we retire to bed. I have one of my computers ported out to our big screen TV in the master bedroom.

If you recall, Mission Impossible had a Black character, Barney, played by Greg Morris. He fit right in with the rest of the team and did a great job. No one discriminated against him and he didn't whine about any imaginary discrimination. In fact, he fit in so well with the team and was so professional that it's easy to forget that he's Black. That's refreshing to see. If all Blacks behaved like that in real life, there would be no racial problems in the United States.
