in early august when the Dow was over 8,000 the 30 year bond was yeilding almost 6 1/2%.

Now the bond is yeilding under 6 1/4%, and trending down. This should actually put a valuation floor under the market and raise the relative vaule of the market, even with lowered earnings projections.

I noticed you trade the S&Ps, yet you use the Dow as your weathervane for stock direction. Shouldn't you use the SP500 instead? My point is, the SP made a new high in Oct, while the Dow did not. One shows a downtrending market, the other does not.
