The British Medical Research Council (MRC) publishes a quarterly magazine. Unfortunately, the magazine is not available by the internet. The Autumn magazine takes a look at the issues relating to sexual health. It assess the intimate relationship between sexual behaviour and how that affects our health, and look at novel strategies for tackling STDs and HIV, both in Britain and in developing countries. Some of the titles in this issue are:
1. Chemical Condoms for Women
2. Putting Women Back in Charge
3. New Contraceptives for a Developing World
4. Tackling STDs in a Bid to Halt HIV
5. New targets for HIV Therapy
Item #1 was authored by Professor Jonathan Weber and Dr. Valerie Kitchen. Both of these researchers were the ones conducting the recently finished Phase I for Procept's PRO 2000 at Saint Mary's Hospital in London, England. I have requested a copy of the magazine. Don't know how long before I receive through the mail, but I will post the highlights as quickly as possible. If positive for Procept, I would hope that Procept's Public Relations has a copy and they use it to their advantage by issuing a press release.
