Just listened to BT CEO on CNBC and his comments support my previous speculation that BT could be a future acquirer of PSIX. Now that MCI saga behind them and BT has a lot more cash in its coffers, BT will be talking to lots of U.S. players, he said.

GTE is in the rumour mill but, as the largest independent ISP network, I continue to think that PSI makes a lot of sense. Of course, GTE recently acquired BBN so, if that's true, maybe BT-GTE wouldn't need PSI.

BTW, iStar should make PSI more attractive to BT.
