Saved the industry or the Union? Would the industry have not survived but without the union? Meanwhile the bondholders were screwed as the rules were changed after the fact. Why were the troubled assets not redeemed? Wasn't that the reason for the TARP fund to redeem the troubled assets? Not to save the auto workers union. When if at all will the troubled assets be redeemed? Suppose they can never be redeemed without destroying the worlds economic systems? Why does the government keep giving billions after billions to freddie mac and fannie mae?
Where does the government keep getting the billions it keeps giving freddie and fannie? How long will this keep going on?
