Hope this helps, it is also my understanding that they both sell and support hardware as well as software applications.

Time and Attendance
Mytec's special purpose optical computer is designed to provide a leading edge Time & Attendance program by incorporating positive identification with advanced, automated report and audit software. It accurately and consistently confirms identity by optically comparing variations found in the pattern of a person's fingerprint. Once positively identified, Time and Attendance software electronically captures employee records and automatically calculates net hours and gross earnings. When using the Mytec system a person's fingerprint becomes their "time card," a time card which cannot be forgotten, borrowed or misused.
The Mytec system provides the ultimate in Time & Attendance technology. Employees clock in by simply sliding their finger across the lens of a Mytec verification device. In essence, their fingerprint becomes their "time card," which requires that they be there in person to clock in or out. This prevents breaches in time management which occur when time cards are punched by persons other than those for whom they are intended. The entire process takes less than one second and is as simple as sliding a finger on a window of glass.
User enrollment is quick and easy and requires little proficiency. The middle finger of the right hand is frequently used because this particular digit is the least susceptible to damage. Alternate fingers from the same user may be enrolled in case the primary finger does become injured. Any finger on either hand is acceptable. The entire enrollment process takes less than thirty seconds.
The system ensures that the person's fingerprint is used only to facilitate time and attendance; not as a method of infringing on their privacy. When a user is enrolled into the system their finger pattern is transformed by Mytec's proprietary method into a Bioscrypt(tm) which has no visual resemblance to the original fingerprint. No copy of the original fingerprint is kept on file, so users of Mytec's system need not fear that their print might someday be used to compromise their civil liberties.
A person's Bioscrypt can be stored on various portable media such as smart cards, optical cards, 2-D bar codes and holograms. The Bioscrypt can be accessed for comparison and verification by simply reading the card itself, by using a PIN stored on a mag stripe card, or entering a PIN on a keypad to access the Bioscrypt from a central database. Installation of the system is simple. Units may be used in stand-alone work stations or in a networked configuration.
Biometric identification using Mytec's system provides the most powerful, easy-to-use way of improving security and automating authorized access while ensuring that a person's right to privacy is always maintained.
