I said they don't work in terms of generating any authoritative figure to plug in as a multiplier. The whole debate, one of the most controversial current economic debates, is what sort of multiplier effect we are getting. Plugging specific values in to the CBO's calculations doesn't settle that debate, its just grabbing one answer, out of many widely different answers, and falsely presenting it as THE answer.

There are answers, there are arguments for different answers, but specific answers are cases of false precision, and no answer is absolutely authoritative. No one is such an expert that we should just ignore the various arguments for different ideas and just accept what they say relying on their credentials or prestige.
