If we take Hart as representative of the public mood, though, Kerry must have instead discerned a clueless complainer. If only Hart were sufficiently plugged in, she'd have the sense to get over her economic anxiety. So what if she fears returning to franks-and-beans family dinners? Does John Kerry carp when he's shamed into moving his $7 million yacht from Rhode Island to Massachusetts, where he will have to shoulder an additional $500,000 tax bill?

Velma Hart isn't clueless but she's a whiner. Did you hear at the end of her little rant she suggested she wants Obama to do something magical to fix the economy.......as if he's the messiah or the wizard? Velma Hart is a metaphor for the American public of which you are one of them. You don't want to pay for the hubris and excess of the first 8 years of this decade. You want someone else to pay for it. Ain't going to happen.....so deal with it!

So then, Bill, did you inherit your mansion?
