Thanks you and thanks to Carolyn. The original beacon from the Fire Island has been in a nautical museum in Pa for a long long time. It's coming to back to Fire Island soon. They're currently building a new building next to the lighthouse to display the beacon but the new building blocks some of the view walking towards the lighthouse from the west on the boardwalk so I have mixed feelings about it. Just about everyone who takes pictures of lighthouse starts shooting from the boardwalk but at least the building won't be in the way shooting from the north, south and east.
