Sequential Changes for July 2010:

Total U.S. Lower 48 gas production increased 0.3% (0.2 Bcf/d) mo/mo.

Onshore production increased 0.5% (0.3 Bcf/d) mo/mo.

Texas production increased 0.3% (0.1 Bcf/d) mo/mo and represented 32% of the
lower 48 market.

Wyoming production increased 0.8% (0.0 Bcf/d) mo/mo and represented 10% of the
lower 48 market.

Louisiana production was flat mo/mo and represented 10% of the lower 48 market.

Offshore Gulf of Mexico production declined 2.0% (0.1 Bcf/d) mo/mo and represented
9% of the lower 48 market.

Year-Over-Year Changes for July 2010:

Total U.S. Lower 48 gas production increased 3.3% (2.1 Bcf/d) yr/yr.

Onshore production increased 6.3% (3.5 Bcf/d) yr/yr.

Texas production declined 1.1% (0.2 Bcf/d) yr/yr.

Wyoming production increased 1.4% (0.1 Bcf/d) yr/yr.

Louisiana production increased 46.7% (2.0 Bcf/d) yr/yr.

Offshore Gulf of Mexico production declined 19.3% (1.4 Bcf/d) yr/yr.
