Mel Gibson's film, The Passion of the Christ, is not only inaccurate, but also seems to be yet another expression of Mel Gibson's passion for bloodlust. The majority of Mel's films, including this one, are extremely violent and filled with gore. It is a disturbing film, from a deeply disturbed man, that serves to distort the truth of the Gospel. The film is not sanctioned by the Church, but rather lauded by evangelical Protestants and Papists, who are alienated from the true Church of Christ. It should not be supported or promoted.
