Ledoux and Roots and Norton are good american labs. A lot of scammers stay away from R and N as they won't put up with nonsense.

There is a very famous one in New York City, an umpire lab but I cannot recall their name. Labzeheimers.

Up in Canuck country its a mixed bag but we do lots. Strangely you never hear of the British but their chemists at Cambridge cleaned up
fire assaying in the 20's and 30's which was a mess all over, particularly in the states. Lots of work was done at U of T in the 30's. In Pt assaying. Taggart and Haultain. In 1978 a C got the drop on everybody and developed accurate and good Pt by Na and ICP with nickel sulfur fusion. Work was paid for by Inco who strangely did then no underground Pt assays. This revolutionized non-south-african Pt assaying. Assays increased by 40% to 50%.

ok labs are Swastika, Acme Analytical, Bell White, Bourlamaque, Bondar Clegg, Loring Labs (Calgary). There are lesser lights and ones to stay away from. I am not crazy about X-RaL, Chauncey, Thunder Bay Testing, TSL, Accurassay, and Assayers. I can probably assay as well as any of them and more accurate if not more precise.
