Barry - Re: " How would you describe the unspoken?" Excellent question. I would describe the attitude of ALL Intel executives that spoke as one of "Confident and In Control" of the situation. Their preparation was superb and reflected their command of the PC and CPU marketplace. Coupled with Intel's manufacturing, technology and marketing prowess, Intel presented their view of the "PC World", Intel's place in that world, and Intel's vision as to how that PC world (Including Servers & Networking) was going to grow and how Intel was going to LEAD THAT GROWTH. They exhibited a "no back down" posture when analysts tried to one-up them or insinuate that pea-brain companies like Cyrix and AMD were about to topple Intel from its dominant position in this marketplace.
