About two months ago I tried to warn investors in WDC that the stock was about to crash. This was obvious because earnings revisions were sharply downward, and "the buzz" on Wall Street was that it was soon either going to lose market share or get in a price war defending it.

Nearly everyone in the WDC thread flamed me. But now the stock is down over 50% since then, for the reasons I cited two months ago.

The lesson: Some people just fall in love with their stocks and refuse to even consider any view that says things are changing. Indeed, opposing views annoy them, and they flame away, they are so in love with their stocks.

Don't fall in love with your stocks. Fall in love with your boyfriend or girlfriend. But don't be emotional when you invest. Then you will be able to take money from those who are emotional when they invest.

Consider the bad opinions about your stock, especially when they come from someone with a proven track record.

Happy Investing!
