Personally I have found the inappropriate negative nationwide reaction to Lebron James simply disgusting. They have even compared Lebron James to Michael Vick and Tiger Woods and multiple people convicted of criminal behavior.

All Lebron James did was exercise his rights as a free agent to choose his place of work. Dozens of other free agents have made similar decisions without all this nonsensical hysteria. Lebron simply wanted to work for less money with Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat. Lost in all the uproar is the fact that Pat Riley has turned the Miami Heat into one of the best run organizations in all sports. For instance the exercise training program is unparalleled. And multiple ex Heat players have said how grateful they were for the experience of playing for the Miami Heat.

Whatever his motives, Lebron James clearly had every right to make the decision that he did. I also watched the ESPN program where he announced his decision and I thought he presented himself very well.

Part of the reaction I believe is a tendency to hate Miami no matter what happens here. Regardless, there are a lot of people out there who have made ridiculous statements which they should be ashamed of.
