i was very specific. paulson lobbied to get the leverage limits of the special banks upped from 12-1 to 40-1.

NONE of the banks would have collapsed with 12-1 leverage.

at best, paulson put out his own fire after doing about 50%-100% of GDP worth of damage.

if that makes him heroic to you than you are a good little mental slave.
