What you fail to understand is that the founding fathers were living in an age when we had JUST discovered democracy and didn't have a clue about modern social theory. Lots of them still kept slaves.

So as we evolve culturally we must evolve the constituion, like getting rid of slavery and giving women the right to vote.

The consitution did not protect slaves or women. YOu want to go back to that?

So if we can/must change those things (which were not in the constitution), why not things like social security and medicare?

if you don't like the constitution, you get on your way.

the founding fathers would have revolted a long time ago.
