Oh, was that ever wrong.

Why wrong?

Even after the huge increase of public spending by the current US President the US public debt as a percentage of GDP is still comparable to other G-20 countries. Japan, for instance, is in a far worse situation.[1]

Regarding GDP per capita the USA continue to be among the leading countries.[2]

It will take one or two additional decades for China to catch up with the current strategic position of the USA.

Funny - for the second time in a week I am getting a response to a message written years ago.
