There isn't a price quote on the GMR drives. The article quotes it for the "PC 3-D game enthusiast, (low-end) to the most advanced desktop computer design engineer," so these drives may be compact but not altogether cheap - in absolute terms, anyway. Relative to other AVI-class disks it should have a bigger effect on price pressures. Greg
