I've been a believer in precious metals going back to 2002 when I first started accumulating physical silver. There's quite a bit of history relating to it on the thread. If you look at the historical charts, you'll see TraderVic's 1-2-3 trend reversal for gold starting in Y2K, and confirming with higher highs in 2002. I must admit, my conviction waivered a bit this summer, and I don't have as much as I used to. I do not view your link as contrarian. It's a trend that makes sense to me, as debasement continues w/ 'QE2' on the horizon. Having said all that , I do go contrarian at times, and generally use DZZ as my vehicle for this purpose. I'll agree it's pretty tempting down here..
