How many of these terrorist-animals would be DEAD now if our troops had never been handicapped by "rules of engagement"? Excellent point. Also, how many would pose a threat of any kind if they had been executed at Guantanamo Bay instead of released? reuters.com excerpt: The Pentagon said on Tuesday that 61 former detainees from its military prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, appear to have returned to terrorism since their release from custody. --- That report was released in early 2009. How many more have returned to terrorism since then? One does NOT release prisoners who have vowed to sacrifice their lives to kill innocent people!!! If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times. The policy should not be catch and release! The policy must be find and TERMINATE!!!
