You can get a certain number of people (10 to 20%) to support any item on your list.

You honestly think only 1or2 out of ten rather we spend our soldiers lives and our treasury in the ME rather than build a strong America? .........You really think only 1or2 out of ten think our health care cost is about right? ............You really think only 1or2 out of ten people in America want to fund China and France with our stimulus spending?

Obama has a list and had great majorities in both houses - so even with that he was able to get only meek accomplishments - so what do you think happens when he loses the majority in Congress? You can complain all you want about what others who do not agree with what you propose - but that's not how America works. All it means is that those who think like this become meaningless in politics as others win elections.

It's up to Obama to challenge us and gain our support for his vision. But getting things done here and there is NOT a vision. Going to the moon is a vision. Obama may not have what it takes to be a visionary - or maybe being the first black man to be elected is his vision. But you are right that's not my vision.
