how stupid can people be? Look who is sitting in the White House. Does that answer your question? :--) Do they never look beyond their noses? This is pathetic... They only look as far as necessary to see What's in it for me? We are now at the threshold of 50% of the voting public that pay NO taxes, and get freebies from the government with "distribution of our wealth". These freeloaders will get medical care and premiums for free or next to nothing with subsidies. Just look at the money they get back at tax time and they NEVER file taxes. Only in America can you make money by not paying any taxes! I sincerely believe these words, and we are at that crucial 50% lever now: A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.
