Greetings from quite chilly State College PA. It's all of 45° right now [well below normal] & it's 45°in Pittsburgh too. It was this cold yesterday when we arrived. I understand a large portion of the north east will be well below normal all week [& it hit 25° in Minnesota today?]. Damn! That's going to hurt the "hottest year on record" crap. No doubt the global warming alarmists will have some explanation how this doesn't matter. US current temps at 11 am Given the current temps aren't going as high as predicted today [what a shock], this map will be several degrees off estimates. IOW Departures from normal temps will actually be even more below normal than this map indicates.
