All you have to do is look at what the estate tax brings in, chump change in the big scheme of things - but, it's a hot issue to wingnuts! Strikes some sort of ideological chord, where they fear their CHILDREN will be DEPRIVED of the special status they DESERVE.

Besides, it was YOUR boy, George W. Bush, who let it lapse for a year, not Obama. Obama just didn't fix it, which just would have brought a huge fight with the obstructive (R)'s.
