Ted, the only reason you (and ThinkProgress.org) are complaining is because the local government there is headed by Republicans. Had this been a Democrat-controlled town, you would have faulted the homeowner for not paying his taxes. I would hope to God that that wouldn't happen in a Dem controlled town. The fact that its happening anywhere in America is a real shocker. Apparently some in the community agree and went after the fire dept personnel and beat up a couple of the firefighters. Bottomline: This is what happens under GOP governance. Its a disgrace. Its like the Bush years all over again.
