All of this talk among money managers about this being the start of a Bear market certainly doesn't help.

I think its clear that Cymer has bottomed out relative to the market, but a 30% decline in the general market may well take Cymer down to the teens. The Street.com lists the case for an increased likelyhood of recession comparing the rates on short term Treasuries to 10 year Treasuries.

Deflationary pressures could be phenomenally Bullish or Bearish depending on how it plays out. The fact that the last time we experienced it was during the 1930's is not entirely reassuring.
