I am betting the farm that, ultimately, the Federal Reserve and their QE initiatives will not be able to stave off the mother of all U.S. equity market crashes and a global depression, and I am investing (gambling) accordingly.

QE addresses correlated symptoms using a placebo. It does not address, much less solve, causality.

I simply do not believe that the Federal Reserve is strong enough to balance the world in one hand and calm a universe of increasing economic turmoil with the other.

My support for my position is their desperate actions, which are becoming increasingly hasty and ill-advised.

All news is extremely bleak and becoming worse. Eventually, the equity and bond markets MUST factor in the growing tsunami of negatives.

This will end very badly.
