Bottom line, however, is that payments were not made and that the right to foreclose probably existed in 99.9999% of the cases. This has to be recognized somehow.

Don't worry there will be a foreclosure bailout, though the way it will be done is not exactly clear as foreclosure is strictly done on a state not federal level.

Your friends are a funny, smart bunch. Their nervousness about gold is, I don't know, almost touching. Of course, there will be corrections, nothing goes up like gold has recently without a bump in the road. They should get used to it. Gold is not for day-traders.
