The other observation (and I've only made one other plane trip in the last few years) is that airlines have learned much from their friends in the financial service industry, now charging egg-management fees for everything from baggage check in to the right to use a faster TSA screening line. Didn't we the sheeple bail these guys out 9 years ago, to maintain a "thriving and competitive" airline industry? F that, I'll drive from here on out. Or charter a jet. The airlines are nothing more than cattle cars. I dread flying and avoid it as much as possible.
