Ricardo, You are right. I believe by linking apples and oranges one can arrive to a better conclusion. You had a good bet with a good hunch. Even if you bought ECI at 14 you were still a winner but less money. And if you had sold an Uncovered call probably had won more money! No disrespect to ECI, but believe me I have seen stocks trading below their book values. To sum up a few days of math work, my conclusion is similar to what Ratal experienced in five years. Selling puts and call, covered or uncovered are losing propositions. Thanks again, I enjoyed and learned from this. Behrouz.
