As an unpaid volunteer-----I spent two years of my life starting, chairing, identifying and training a 1500 family Neighborhood Watch to get the druggies and criminals out of the neighborhood-----with the help of a lot of talented, educated American people retired from the Army, Marines and Navy.

As a woman, mother and wife I had the support of our family, We sat down and talked about the need and committed our family and living room to that effort. (A lot like the current Tea Party supporters, we saw a need and committed to doing it.)

We achieved our purpose-----the organization has endured and been sucessful. Neighbors got to know each other and built lifelong friendships.

We did it without pay as Mr. Obama did not do. I would put that major effort up against Obama's South Side "paid community organizer" any day as a comparison of sucess.

What we did was the American Way--------no Acorn wanted or needed----and no paid community organizer such as Mr. Obama.
