The "it" in this context is not religion but the Christian scripture. "I have criticised the exercise of authority in a coercive and abusive manner." What you do is to label anyone who has a different world view from you as a "religionist" and claim that merely holding the view that they are right and you are wrong is abusive but when you do the same thing it is not. You are consistently inconsistent if nothing else. As far as taking personal responsibility, you should try it some time.
