We got out-spun on this. It's not "spend our way out." It's really "invest our way out."
It's good for everybody. If the government helps you invest in insulation, your heating/AC bills go down, the need for more energy is aliviated, somebody gets a job insulating, and some people are involved in everything from getting the raw materials to bring the final product o to your house. Invest some money in high speed rail? Same process.
